Halloween Happiness

Pumpkin carving is always a festive time. Thankfully, the kids are getting older and more capable of carving their own pumpkins! We even whipped out the drill and had fun figuring out where we could put holes into our designs. As you can see below they each designed and created their own unique pumpkin faces. I love seeing how they all turn out.

This is Sidney's all drilled pumpkin.

I'm sporting the Raggedy Ann costume my mom made years ago. Can't waste an adorable costume like this! My mom is good!

Trunk or Treating with our neighbor, Hayden.

I hate how fuzzy my camera is. :( Some lovely ladies, and good friends, from the ward; Malissa Potter, Jennifer Poston, Laura Turner, and myself. Below is Lily Potter, Sidney, and Julia Poston.

One happy, haunting, Halloween Family at our church party. We have a confused Harry Potter, a referee, an anger tiger, a hiding Ninja, a Raggedy Ann, a Pippy Longstocking, and a hamburger.

Because we were cleaning mom's house to get ready to sell it, we stayed and trick or treated the night away with the Hopkins. Poor Tanner got sick in the afternoon, so Owen and Sidney had to trick or treat twice as fast so they had some to share! They were booking it and lasted a long time - it made my trick-or-treat-loving heart proud! And they got loooots of candy! The pics do not do it justice! Happy Halloween!

Some September - 2016

Enjoying the last few nice days of summer. Sleeping on the tramp once a summer is a must! So is having a final bonfire. Why didn't we think about the lights on the fence sooner?

Tanner bomb reading in the sun. This must be while waiting for the bus. haha
Tanner likes to cuddle.
The neighbors cat (we found out later) we adopted since they don't seem to feed it or care about it. It wanders the neighborhood, but comes over to eat and sleep at our house. We named it/her? Gypsy. Sidney's new hobby this past summer was to mow the lawn. She's bummed because now that Owen can do it, they have to take turns earning the 4 dollars for doing it.

Sidney, our motorcycle girl.

These soccer games started to get cold! And wet, but we smarted up and brought our canopy to the rest of the rainy games. Tanner and Owen played on the same team and LOVED it! They were both the high scorers for their team and came away with quite a bit of cash after their grandpa started paying them a buck a goal. And then their coach said he would match it. Too bad for them the boys both scored 4 goals each one game! HA! Owen was nicknamed Ironman by his coach(he was a beast out in the field, taking on everyone, and had a nice, big kick), and Tanner Capt. America(Tanner had a little more finesse with the ball, but was equally successful in the goal scoring department). He got them each their own shirt and bought Owen the whole Iron Man movie series. Way to work it boys!
