Owen's birthday ends the month of birthdays for us, and to top it off, it even happens to be on St. Patricks Day!
We started the day with his birthday "dinner," because he requested pancakes dyed pink with bacon! Nate was confused by his request for pink pancakes, but decided that he would claim him as his son when he told us he wanted bacon to go with it.
We opened presents right after breakfast, cuz who wants to wait, right?
Like Tanner, he got a plasma car, a pop gun, some legos and collected a nice stash of cash!
We went to see "Rise of the Guardians," ate too much candy, played non stop, stayed up late, and ended the night with his dinosaur cake! Yummy! (and no, we didn't go to the movies on Sunday, we celebrated on the Saturday before his birthday)
One more year to go in the 20s. I'm kind of scared to turn 30 next year....
Nate got me my highly desired ice cream cake from Dairy Queen. Apparently I talked it up too much in my mind, cuz it didn't live up to my hopes and dreams. But it was very nice of him to get it for me! :)
Thanks to everyone for all the fun goodies and cards!
And once again, I was able to guess Nate's present through the wrapping paper. He hates that I do this, but it's just too much fun!!!
